Estate Planning.

Wills, revocable trusts, dynasty trusts, supplemental needs trusts, charitable trusts, and powers of attorney for individuals and families.

Article I.The work

Estate planning is the work of arranging your affairs while you can. It is private, particular, and durable; the documents we draft are intended to do their work decades from now, and to do it without surprising the people you love. Our partners are Estate Planning Law Specialists, and their planning practice is the heart of the firm.

Most of our estate planning engagements begin with a conversation: what you have, what you intend, who you want to provide for, and what you would prefer not to leave to a court's discretion. The instruments — the will, the trust, the power of attorney, the medical directive — follow from that. We draft conservatively and we draft to last.

Article II.Scope

What this includes.

Who this serves: Individuals, married couples, families with closely held business interests, and clients with multi-state holdings or non-traditional family structures.

  • Wills and codicils
  • Revocable living trusts
  • Dynasty trust planning for multi-generational wealth transfer
  • Supplemental needs trusts (first-person and third-person)
  • Charitable trust planning

Begin a conversation.

Engagements begin with a confidential conversation. We will listen first; we will quote scope and fees only after we understand what you need.
